Mission

Our lifesaving difference is the focus on individuals living with prior self-harming tendencies, mental health challenges, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. The mission of SDSL is to educate and raise funds to provide highly trained service dogs, which are given free of charge to veterans, first responders, and others. Any individual receiving a service dog funded by SDSL has experienced prior suicidal ideation. Service Dogs Saving Lives was established after the loss of our son, Joseph, to suicide.
