Mission

MISSION STATEMENT: The Wild Bird Fund is a state and federally licensed 501(c)(3) that cares for the injured, ill and orphaned wildlife of New York City. Our mission is twofold: 1) to provide medical care and rehabilitation to native and passing migrant wildlife so that they can be released back into the wild; and 2) to educate New Yorkers about the rich diversity of the city's wildlife and how to help it thrive. We are the only wildlife rehabilitation and education facility in New York City.
