Mission
PAWS is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in continuous operation since 1962 by Westport, Connecticut resident Betty Long to rescue homeless dogs and cats and place them in permanent homes. PAWS rescues & rehomes approximately 1,000 animals annually. Many of the dogs faced euthanasia at local pounds and most of the cats that we help are strays and abandoned cats that roam our streets. PAWS is a no kill animal shelter dedicated to the rescue and adoption of our community's homeless and abused dogs and cats. PAWS has paid staff and a team of dedicated volunteers who help with everything to fundraising, kennel work, walking dogs, cleaning, and much, much more.
What a market here would mean
Launching a market for Pet Animal Welfare Society of Connecticut creates a token on Robinhood Chain whose creator fees are paid to a vault that can only send money to this organisation's payout config. It does not make this organisation a partner, and it is not something they have agreed to.This organisation is in the provider's catalog but has not set up an account with it. Donations are still routed to it, but the final payout is completed by the provider on its behalf and takes longer.
Collected fees leave Robinhood Chain on its own canonical bridge, which has a seven-day challenge period, and are donated on Ethereum where the provider's relay is deployed. There is no faster path that does not add a third party we would have to ask you to trust. The provider keeps 3% of what arrives.
