Mission

Bon Secours Community Works (BSCW), of which Unity Properties is a part, has a mission to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus by improving the health and well-being of our community and bringing Good Help to those in Need. BSCW has served West Baltimore for 35+ years with affordable housing and community development by Unity; workforce development training with job placement; family and parent support programs including Early Head Start; financial education services; and an urban farm for food access. Unity has made a massive investment in West Baltimore by developing 800 units of affordable housing with service coordination at 8 locations for families, seniors, the disabled and the formerly homeless. Current focus is the renovation of vacant houses for low income home ownership.
