Mission

The Open Collective Foundation’s mission is to provide a simple, open, lightweight path for Collectives and communities to operate through a 501(c)(3) entity. We provide Fiscal Sponsorship as a service, with a tech-enabled, open finances infrastructure for ideas and communities to come to life. Our focus is on nonprofit Collectives that increase access to educational resources and training with an emphasis on open source technology; create a positive social impact; and develop tools to improve civic participation.

What a market here would mean

Launching a market for Opencollective Foundation creates a token on Robinhood Chain whose creator fees are paid to a vault that can only send money to this organisation's payout config. It does not make this organisation a partner, and it is not something they have agreed to.This organisation is in the provider's catalog but has not set up an account with it. Donations are still routed to it, but the final payout is completed by the provider on its behalf and takes longer.

Collected fees leave Robinhood Chain on its own canonical bridge, which has a seven-day challenge period, and are donated on Ethereum where the provider's relay is deployed.
