THE HAWAIIAN HUMANE SOCIETY, ESTABLISHED IN 1897 AND INCORPORATED IN 1920, IS A PRIVATE, NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE HUMAN-ANIMAL BOND AND THE HUMANE TREATMENT OF ALL ANIMALS. THE HAWAIIAN HUMANE SOCIETY WORKS TO IMPROVE THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS THROUGH EDUCATION, LEGISLATION, AND PREVENTION ON THE ISLAND OF OAHU, HAWAII.
