Mission

The mission of The FOUNDATION is to empower lives for a brighter future by facilitating projects and partnerships that enhance the welfare, education, health, and artistic and athletic abilities of individuals with Down syndrome. The vision of The FOUNDATION is to create an environment where people with Down syndrome are included in every facet of the community. We believe that every person has something to offer regardless of their abilities. It is our hope to enable people with Down syndrome to become integrated into all areas of the community throughout their lives. Our support often begins when we meet a new mom who has received a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome. We are there throughout our members' lives - throughout childhood, college, and meaningful employment.
