Mission

Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates animals with a primary focus on pigs. Our mission is to: Rescue those that have been abused, exploited or discarded. Rehabilitate through patience, love and respect. Educate individuals on leading a cruelty-free life through daily choices. Pig residents include abandoned, neglected, abused, and pigs that require specialized care. Many of the residents are elderly, blind, obese, born with birth defects, or have other long term medical needs. Todd Friedman formed Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary in 2018 after a simple property walkthrough turned into a rescue mission of a 4-month-old piglet. Arthur was rescued that same day and the 77-acre property and associated buildings were purchased to become Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary
