Mission

Mission: To promote the understanding of and responsibility for the environment through hands-on science education. The Environmental Volunteers believes everyone of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities deserve to learn about the natural world through personal exploration, so they can become responsible stewards of the Earth. Environmental Volunteers provides hands-on science and nature education in Silicon Valley and nationally through our Sprout Up programs. Our trained volunteers inspire a lifelong love and respect for the natural world through hands-on programs for people of all ages. We offer school programs, field trips, community programs and public programs at the EcoCenter in the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve and online.
