K9S Serving Vets

Mission

As a liaison between Veterans, the Department of Veterans Affairs and service dog training organizations, we empower Veterans by helping them partner with service dogs to transform their lives. K9s Serving Vets was founded to arm Veterans in search of service dogs with information, guidance and support. We are focused on the journey of Veterans to find their service dogs and we act as a road map to help them navigate the process. We provide them with the requirements of the Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure they receive the additional benefits for Veteran service dog handlers, we help them find the right training organization for their needs, assist with fundraising for the costs and help them transition into their new life as a Veteran service dog handler.
